Terms of Service

Effective: July 19, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of String Art App, operated by Pixelpress Design LLC ("Pixelpress," "we," "us," or "our") on the web and iOS.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using String Art App (the "Service"), you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you use the iOS app, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies.

2. Description of Service

String Art App converts images into string art patterns and provides tools that may include:

• Image upload and processing
• String art pattern generation
• Design saving and management (for registered users)
• PDF template downloads
• Pin sequences, Voice Guidance, pattern information, animations, and creation guides
• Community Gallery and social features
• Paid design credits and Unlimited Access

3. User Accounts

To access certain features, you must create an account. You agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use
• Be responsible for all activities under your account

4. Free and Paid Features

Available free features and limits may change. Current limits and prices are shown in the Service before you act or purchase.

Design Credit: A design credit unlocks the paid sequence for one design and saves that design to your account. Purchased unused credits do not expire.

Unlimited Access: A one-time purchase unlocks the paid features identified as included with Unlimited Access for your account for as long as the Service remains available. It is not a recurring subscription.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

• Upload content you don't have rights to use
• Upload illegal, offensive, or harmful content
• Attempt to reverse-engineer or hack the Service
• Use the Service to violate another person's privacy, publicity, or intellectual-property rights
• Automate access, scrape, disrupt, overload, or bypass limits or security controls
• Abuse, harass, or spam other users
• Share or resell your account access

6. Intellectual Property

Your Content: You retain ownership of images you upload. By uploading, you grant us a license to process and display them solely to provide the Service.

Our Content: The Service, including software, design, and algorithms, is owned by Pixelpress Design LLC and protected by copyright law.

Generated Patterns: Subject to rights in the source image and these Terms, you may use patterns you generate for personal or commercial projects.

Community Content: If you publish content to the Community Gallery, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, reproduce, display, and distribute it as needed to operate and promote the Service. You may remove your content using available controls. We may moderate or remove content that violates these Terms.

7. Payment Terms

iOS purchases are processed by Apple and managed for entitlement purposes through RevenueCat. Web purchases are processed by Stripe. By purchasing, you agree to:

• Pay the price and applicable taxes displayed by the relevant storefront
• Follow the payment provider's terms
• Receive immediate access upon successful payment
• Use purchase restoration where available for restorable iOS purchases

Deleting the app or your String Art App account does not itself create a refund. Purchase records may be retained as required for accounting, fraud prevention, and legal compliance.

8. Refund Policy

Refunds are governed by applicable law and the payment provider's rules. For an iOS purchase, request a refund from Apple. For a web purchase, contact us at contact@stringartapp.com. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable consumer rights.

9. Service Availability

We strive for 24/7 availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be unavailable due to:

• Scheduled maintenance
• Technical issues
• Force majeure events

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties. We do not promise that generated patterns will be error-free, suitable for a particular project, or continuously available. Use appropriate care and safety practices when working with tools, nails, frames, and thread.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pixelpress is not liable for:

• Indirect or consequential damages
• Lost data or designs
• Service interruptions
• Third-party service failures

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us for the Service during the 12 months before the claim. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

11. Account Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you:

• Violate these Terms of Service
• Engage in fraudulent activity
• Abuse the Service

You may initiate account deletion through the Contact option in the app or by emailing contact@stringartapp.com. Account deletion does not automatically cancel or refund a purchase.

12. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.

13. Privacy

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect and use your data.

14. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by applicable United States law, without limiting consumer protections that cannot legally be waived in your place of residence. The courts with lawful jurisdiction will resolve disputes unless the parties agree to another process.
